We moved to the town of Bluff City where
Paul Carson, National Park Service Superintendent of the Overmountain Victory
National Historic Trail, Certified a piece of the trail that runs right through
the Bluff City Middle School property. The OVTA then told the Story of the
Campaign to the Battle of Kings Mountain to 412 students.

Lt. Governor of Tennessee Ron Ramsey
addresses the students at Bluff City Middle School. In his talk he reflected on
the history of the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail and the effect
it had on this Country.

The OVTA fires a volley in honor of the Town
of Bluff City, Bluff City Middle School and the Patriots of the campaign and
Battle of Kings Mountain

After our visit to Bluff City Middle School,
Herman Carrier and the community of Bluff City fed the OVTA supper and then we
had a story on our travels and the Campaign to Kings Mountain. Thanks to Herman
and friends.

Sam Lloyd is our County Marshal that makes
things run smooth in Sullivan and Carter Counties, TN. Huzzah Sam !!! (Sam is
