The Hike from Rocky Mount to Watauga

After  nice encampment at Rocky Mount State Park, We head towards the town of Watauga. These 2 are enjoying the beautiful scenery. We picked up a 4 legged friend along the way.

We continue along the River and then up into the hills and then down into Watauga, TN

The town of Watauga feeds us a good lunch and we are very appreciative. Next stop is crossing the Watauga River and into the Fort at Sycamore Shoals. Next stop - Crossing the Watauga River.
