PRESENTATION OF PLAQUE TO SUE VAUGHN

Mike Dahl presents a plaque to Mrs. Sue Vaughn and family for their stewardship of the Pemberton Oak over the years.

The frame for the plaque was made from wood of the Pemberton Oak by Mike Dahl.

Col John Pemberton mustered his Patriot militia under this tree in 1780 to commence their journey to Kings Mountain. Fran Dahl is presenting Old Glory which was being carried this year in honor of Conrad Schliske
