NPS Blackpowder Firelock Safety Training

The National Park Service at Kings Mountain/Cowpens have developed a blackpowder safety training course. It is a hands-on training for safety, how to handle a firelock, firing the firelock, what to do around visitors, and other important points. This training is required for anyone wanting to fire their weapons on NPS property (Cowpens and Kings Mountain). Good for 1 year. No Charge. OVTA members only.
Need to register to participate by February 15. May register online or email RG Ashber at rg.absher@ovta.org.
